Columns placed where the road actually is

Lighting columns are positioned by chainage and offset against the road alignment, so a change to the corridor moves the lighting with it. Pole height, arm type, bracket, fixture and wattage are parameters, and four style presets cover the common municipal specifications.

Because the columns sit in the same scene as kerbs, footways and underground services, you can see immediately whether a foundation clashes with a drainage lateral or a duct bank.

Cabling and ducting as modelled geometry

Electrical connections are routed as real conduits between columns and the feeder position, following the same trench rules as other underground services. That gives you duct lengths, draw pit locations and excavation quantities rather than an assumed cable run.

MV/LV corridors, ducting and lighting circuits can be modelled together, with clash detection running across all of them.

Schedules and drawings without redrafting
