InfraGrid 3D — Route. Verify. Export native.

InfraGrid 3D — Reimagining Civil Engineering

Roads, hardstanding, utilities and drainage, all in one model. Superior performance, and the detail to match.

Set out the road, route the wet and dry utilities, and check the long section before anything is built. Kerbs, build-up, chambers, cover and bend radii stay in the model.

InfraGrid 3D is browser civil and utility BIM for modelling wet and dry utilities and underground services. Civil engineers, BIM managers and utility designers route roads, storm and foul drainage, watermains, power and public lighting in a web tab, verify live long sections, run clash when they choose, and export native Revit, IFC and DXF. A Revit plugin and Mapbox site context are included. Nothing to install.

InfraGrid 3D is browser-native: no desktop install, no licence server, no Civil 3D seat to start designing. Live long sections and on-demand clash sit in the same model as the roads, wet utilities, dry utilities and other underground services. Export is native Revit geometry plus IFC and DXF. It does not replace every Civil 3D module, and it does not run EPA SWMM, catchment design, or duct-bank modelling.

What you can do live

Browser civil and utility BIM. Road design. Wet utilities (storm drainage, foul drainage and watermains). Dry utilities (power and public lighting). Underground services modelling. Drainage design. Underground utilities. Public lighting. Live long sections. Clash detection (hard and soft) on pipes and chambers — off until the engineer turns it on. Native Revit export. IFC export. DXF export. Revit plugin. Mapbox site context.

Frequently asked questions

What is InfraGrid?

Civil engineering design in the web browser. You model roads, wet and dry utilities and underground services — storm and foul drainage, watermains, power and public lighting — and read the long section from the same model. When the drawing needs to leave, export to Revit, IFC or DXF.

Why not just use Revit or Civil 3D?

Those tools are built for buildings and full highway models. InfraGrid is for the civil work around them: move a road or a service bank, keep the cover and bend radii, and check the long section without rebuilding each pipe.

Does it run in a browser?

Yes. Open a link on a normal laptop. There is no install to start designing. Large IFC and CAD models stream in so you can navigate them without loading the whole file at once.

What can I import and export?

Import IFC (2x3, 4, 4.3), DXF, LAS/LAZ, PDF underlays, and GPR survey lines. With a Pro licence, export native Revit geometry, IFC, DXF, PDF drawings, and CSV take-offs. The demo and unpaid accounts cannot export. GPR crown lines convert to 3D pipes in one step.

Can I design roads and junctions?

Yes. Kerbs, construction build-up, camber, UK markings and signs, junctions, lay-bys and widenings. Edit the alignment and the corridor updates.

How does the Revit export work?

Install the InfraGrid add-in, then push native DirectShape geometry to your project coordinates — roads, kerbs, utilities, chambers, and lighting — without a manual IFC import on every iteration.

Can I share live models with clients?

Yes. Share a browser link on the call — colleagues and clients see the same live model. Move a corridor, read a section, or review a clash in session. Decisions land in the meeting, not in next week's PDF.

Where is my project data stored?

Projects save to managed cloud storage in the browser. Share links for review. Export IFC, DXF, or Revit once you have a Pro licence. You own your data. Extra storage is available as an add-on.
